A Legacy in Her Blood: The Story of a Creative Soul

Born into a lineage rich in artistry and cultural legacy, the founder grew up in a home where stories were painted, sung, carved, and staged. Her family tree is rooted in a proud Filipino past: her great-great-grandfather, Don Florencio Lerma, was not only a musician and playwright, but also a revolutionary — one of the Quince Martires of the Philippine Revolution. His wife, Simeona Navoa, was a vibrant performer of their time, and together they built a life in the arts that echoed across generations.
The creative pulse never skipped a beat. On her mother’s side, she shares blood with an acclaimed literary figure whose words have shaped Filipino literature. Her grandfather’s family ran a furniture workshop in Manila, known for crafting pieces by hand — each one a quiet work of art. Her parents, both interior designers and artists, taught her early on that design is not just how things look, but how they feel.
Her path was shaped by passion and purpose. She studied Accessories for Interior Design at UCLA, earned an art degree at the University of the Philippines, and completed with distinction an Organic Agriculture course under the Faculty of Management and Development Studies for UP’s Continuing Education Program — merging creativity with sustainability. Her view of design expanded beyond aesthetics into nature, structure, and community.
Living abroad for over ten years, she connected with global causes that echoed her values. In Shanghai, she volunteered for Rainbow of Hope, bridging urban and rural communities through creative, sustainable and organic outreach. In Hong Kong, she was named Ambassador of the Year by Green Foot International, championing recycling and sustainability with heart and hands.
Back home or abroad, on stage or behind the scenes, she lives as an artist, poet, singer, and curator of stories — whether told through brushstrokes, spoken word, or the curation of everyday objects. Her passion for theater, heritage conservation, and culture is not just a calling — it’s a continuation of the legacy she inherited, now shaped into a vision all her own.
